Skhanda Lion Security was born from frustration. The big national operators treated Durban like one posting on a roster. Their officers rotated in and out, didn't know the geography, didn't know the patterns. We started because we knew there had to be a better way — by people for people, built on genuine neighbourhood knowledge, not a call centre script.

Every single officer holds a valid Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) registration. That's not optional — it's the law, and we enforce it on ourselves. No corners cut.
Background Vetted
Before an officer ever arrives at your gate or storefront, we run a full background check. Criminal history, employment history, references checked. We need to know who we're sending.
Ongoing Training
Deployment is just the start. Every officer completes annual refresher training in firearm handling, first aid, and conflict de-escalation. The security landscape changes — our team keeps pace.
